GT3 Pilot schemes

Pilot schemes shall be conducted to validate the model in 5 representative areas of the SUDOE: 
Navarra (Atlantic and Pyrenean Forest), Extremadura (Mediterranean Forest), Cataluña (Pyrenean and Mediterranean Forest), Occitanie (Pyrenean Forest), Región Centro, Portugal (Mediterranean Forest).

The main tasks to be performed shall be as follows:

• Analysis of the initial situationin the 5 territories taking part in the pilot schemes.
• Design of the projects: objectives, activities, budget, schedule, indicators, leaders.
• Implementation and monitoringof the actions.
• Study Visitsto the 5 pilot schemes.
• Preparation of an Assessment Report.
• Revision of the model following the results of the pilot schemes.
• Publication of the “Guide”for the dissemination of the developed and tested management model.

The pilot schemes shall include those aspects of the management model that are innovative in each territory.
