\n The Association of Forest Communes has implemented data processing software. Based on the resource and consumption information of a chosen territory, the software allows to determine evolution scenarios of local wood supply for wood energy, industrial wood, and \/ or timber.\n<\/p>\n

1. Diagnosis for the wood supply of the territory<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n

  • \n Estimated consumption on the territory (boiler \/ sawmills in place or in projects, private consumption …)\n <\/li>\n
  • \n Determination of available and technico-economically available wood volumes\n <\/li>\n
  • \n Quantification of possible excess volumes for other facilities \/ uses\n <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    2. Costs of mobilizing forest chips<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n

    • \n Identification of logistic scenarios for the mobilization of forest chips\n <\/li>\n
    • \n Calculation of the mobilization costs of the forest resource according to different scenarios\n <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      3. Equipment, service and environment<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n

      • \n Proposals to optimize the supply chain\n <\/li>\n

\n Here are some actions “types” set up following the realization of the PAT:\n<\/p>\n

  • sizing, location and realization of storage platforms;<\/strong>\n <\/li>\n
  • Realization of a land diagnosis<\/strong> (accessibility constraints linked to fragmentation);\n <\/li>\n
  • pooling of sites<\/strong> in relation to the estimated availability;\n <\/li>\n
  • prioritization of the investment areas<\/strong> (animation on land, creation of storage \/ storage space …);\n <\/li>\n
  • technical and financial support <\/strong>for the installation or rehabilitation of boiler rooms;\n <\/li>\n
  • program to improve the use of hardwood<\/strong> in low availability contexts;\n <\/li>\n
  • creation of specifications for good forestry practices<\/strong> validated by all partners;\n <\/li>\n
  • creation of intermunicipal structures<\/strong> increasing the local demand for wood energy;\n <\/li>\n
  • writing of management recommendations<\/strong> for wood energy in low availability contexts;\n <\/li>\n
  • Establishment of a computer platform and cartographic <\/strong>following problems related to a lack of service, and allowing the easy and fast connection between the elected officials and the operators (transbois device).\n <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
